I recently started using acrylic markers in my work. They have been around for ages and for some reason, I have been a slow adopter of them. Now I am head over heals in playing with them. They lend themselves to adding details to acrylic painting.
Being water based they work the same ways as traditional markers. Shake them, only press the nib down once to get the paint to flow. Do this on a craft mat as you may have a puddle left that you can use to pick up the paint with a contrasting pen. Say you have a puddle of blue on the craft mat, use your white pen to pick up some blue and then draw with it. You will have a blue line that gradually goes to white. This works with most markers and is rather fun to create interesting colors.
