Christmas Projects

Do you hit December and wish you had made at least a dozen different projects? Maybe decorations for the tree or house? Cards up the wazoo to send to all your friends? Gifts for the extended family?
I think many of us creatives want to create and have the perfect Christmas. We know we can make that wreath, sew or knit hats, scarves or paint the perfect painting as a gift. Assemble the over flowing stockings for Christmas.

Yes, we are super crafty women who want to do it all… in a few short weeks!

You can accomplish most of your Christmas dreams if you start now. Make a list of all the fun things you wanted to have created this year. Make it detailed: what do they look like, do you have magazine articles, Pinterest pins or Instagram saves for them?

Now start collecting the materials while they are on sale. Sort the items by project. Make a calendar and plan out when you are going to work on each project. Then start.

Think of this like a Christmas savings account: a little bit each month and by next Christmas you will have accomplished a whole lot!

Have fun with it and allow for the Creative ADD to take over when a colorful new project lands in front of you.
