Making Dreams Happen

I have been talking a lot about making my dreams happen. I speak my dreams out loud and am open to opportunities to taking steps forward. By living in the future energy of the person who has achieved those dreams I am priming my mind and body for the future that must happen.

Visualization is key to making dreams happen. A vision board or dream board can assist. Visualization is a full body experience, kinda like a day dream on steroids. You want to feel the experience, see it, embody it, as if it is happening to you now. Everyday, even a couple of times of day, experience how you feel as if it has happened. How do you feel that you achieved your dream? Grab that feeling and hang on to it. Enjoy it daily, many times a day even.

Write it down, in detail what your world looks like from getting out of bed to going to bed, after you have achieved your dream. Mortgage paid off? Traveling lots, in amazing shape or you are helping to provide a future for your family. What ever it is make notes of it. Then feel it happening.

At the same time you will have to release your inner roommate and not allow them to tell you how silly your dreams are. The first step in taming this crazy voice in your head is to give it a name. Because it’s not really you that is telling you  how awful you are. Name it, then tell them to let go of the past because the inner roommate only lives in the past. It becomes very anxious when you are present or dreaming and taking action on a future you.  Remember a bad day for your inner roommate is a good day for your soul!

Steps:

Visualize what you want and who you are that has achieved this dream

Write your dreams in detail

Name the Inner Roommate -that pesky voice in your head

Spend time daily on visualizations

Take small steps towards becoming that person that the future you is
