Art Tool Kit Palette

I got for Christmas a new Art Tool Kit Demi Palette, the Trailbound  Sketches version. It is a tiny red thing that holds 12 small pans. I am being forced to minimize and decide what simple colors do I use all the time and want to have in this super portable palette?

Trailbound Sketches is on Instagram and has a website (https://trailboundsketches.com/). I have been following him for several years on Instagram. I do like the intense color saturation Max Romey uses in his artwork. He is also a film maker and many times his work appears in tandem with his videos.

The Palletes

This Demi palette means I have three Art Tool Kit sets, each a different size and use. The largest is the Folio Palette. I find I carry the larger Folio around the most. I took it to Britain a couple of years ago. It holds a  lot of paint! My two weeks in the UK, painting almost daily barely put a dent in the pans!

The next one is the Pocket Palette. I used to carry this one in work bag so I always had a quick watercolor handy for quiet days at work. Since I have stopped working I haven’t pulled it out at all! Time to change that. Maybe I will put unusual colors in this mid-sized palette. That might entice me to use it a bit more.

The Demi is my most recent one and the hardest to fill! I am thinking I will pull some colors from the Pocket to experiment with in the Demi. Then fill the Pocket with super granulating colors. Hmm….
