Fall Maple Trees

In the park near my house the trees are beautiful. Aspens, maples, oaks are but a few of the trees that grace this 159 acres park. I love to walk the park daily and sketch there as often as possible. 

For this painting I worked from my photograph. The maples are the focal point of the painting. I love the yellow of the leaves and feel that it transferred well to the painting.
